We currently recommend our customers to take their umbrellas and walking sticks to their local hand engraver for engraving.
Although we strongly recommend that you seek advice from a professional physiotherapist, below is one method that you can use to determine what length to have your walking stick/umbrella:
The intended walking stick user should stand upright, in the type of shoes that they usually wear, with their arms hanging naturally by their sides. Another person should then measure the distance from the top of their wrist bone to the floor.
We recommend being cautious at first, when possible, as not to cut the stick too short as a this will cause the intended user to stoop forward and will not provide adequate support.
Please note that this information is a guide only. Consult your doctor or physiotherapist if you require specific, medical advice on this matter.
If your package arrives bent or damaged, we ask that you please note this with the delivery driver on their paperwork or electronic device, the parcel should be checked to see if any damage has occurred to the goods inside the box. You must inform us by email within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a claim against the delivery company. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

It comes complete with a case and is typically the heaviest of the three city umbrellas.

‘The London’ is the lightest of the 3 city umbrellas. It is made with an 8mm steel tube, a polyester cover (with an elastic band), a resin runner, and is finished with a needle end.
None of these umbrellas can be cut to a different length.

Customs and Duties, will I need to pay any additional charges?
Please note that customers may be required to pay import duty/tax if you are purchasing from overseas. Depending on your specific country’s import laws and procedures the courier may require you to fill out additional paperwork to complete the delivery of your goods. If the customer refuses to pay these aforementioned charges, the package may be returned to us or, in the worst cases, the package may be destroyed.
Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot predict what the cost might be. Customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. It might be a good idea for you to contact your local customs office to gain a better understanding of what applicable fees may be charged to you before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.
The customer must take full liability for any parcels returned to us due to unpaid customs charges or repeated failed deliveries. If a parcel is returned to us due to repeated failed deliveries or unpaid custom charges, you will be charged for another delivery.
We only repair umbrellas made or sold by us. For more information please see the ‘Repair Department’ section of our website.
