Malacca cane has been used in the craft of umbrella and walking stick making for over 100 years. Traditionally exported from the Malaysian city of the same name, this smooth grass is left with a distinctive mottled pattern from the mud that splashes onto the cane during the monsoon season. Using selected malacca crook handles fitted to a strong maple shaft, these umbrellas are some of the finest quality items produced in our workshop. Unlike the solid stick umbrellas, these items are unsuitable for support but they can be cut to the appropriate length for the user and finished with a brass ferrule.

Canopy Diameter: 104cm (40.9”)

Weight: 600 grams
